The cottage on the west side dates from the 18th century, while the one on the east side has origins in the 17th century, both featuring 19th-century details. The 17th-century cottage is constructed from clunch with red brick dressings and has a red pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and has two ground floor openings with arched heads, both fitted with casements that have glazing bars. There is a 20th-century casement window on the east side. On the first floor, there are two 3-light casements with glazing bars. A plaque with the initials ANW and the date 1893 is located on the first floor. The west gable features clunch quoins, brick kneelers, a brick coped parapet with two diamond stacks, and a base that is exposed due to a slightly lowered roofline. The east gable has brick quoins, a coped parapet, and an end stack. There is also a brick and pantiled lean-to with a boarded door on the east side. The cottage on the west side has clunch and brick on the first floor and a 20th-century pantiled roof. It features a ground floor casement window and a 20th-century door, along with a porch and a bay window. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casements with glazing bars.
