Description

This is an early 19th-century shop with a flat above, located in King Street, Great Yarmouth. It is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick, with a roof covered in black-glazed pantiles to the front. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window front. A late 20th-century shop front has been inserted. The front features rusticated quoins above the shop front, and the first floor has three 6/6 sash windows, while the second floor has three 3/3 sash windows, all unhorned. A mutilated eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The roof is gabled, with a rebuilt internal gable-end stack on the north side. The rear includes a single-storey, late 20th-century extension. The first-floor interior retains some plank partitioning. The upper staircase landing features a stick balustrade.
