Description

Hopton Hall is a house built around 1825, constructed of brick with a roof of plain tiles. The building has two storeys and features five bays. A central doorway is highlighted by a portico porch, which is supported by two pairs of Greek Doric columns. On the ground floor, there are four iron casement French windows, each set under gauged skewback arches. The first floor has five sash windows, also with gauged skewback arches, and these windows are adorned with wrought iron balconies that rest on concrete sills. Wrought iron rails are present on the porch as well. The house has overhanging eaves and a gabled roof, with internal gable end stacks.
