Description
Green Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with the possibility of an earlier core. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply-pitched black-glazed pantile roof. The building has two storeys and attics, following a lobby entrance plan. It has a three-window range that is widely spaced, with sashes that include glazing bars (one window has margin lights) and 19th-century casements. There are two dormers with sashes and segmental heads. A large off-centre chimney stack has a moulded brick cap, and there is another chimney stack at the gable. The gables are parapeted with tumbling-in. At the rear, there is a later lean-to and a gabled one-storey wing. Inside, the kitchen features ovolo moulded beams and a set of plain-chamfered joists with stops.
