Description
The Old Hall is a Grade I listed building, dated 1686 on the east face of the central chimney stack. It features red brick construction and hipped pantile roofs, with two storeys, an attic, and a basement. The facade consists of seven bays, with the three central bays recessed. The central doorway has a semi-circular headed opening, flanked by brick pilasters with Ionic capitals and topped with a segmental moulded brick pediment. The windows are sashes with architraves and glazing bars, set beneath gauged brick arches. The building has rusticated brick quoins and a moulded brick string course at the first floor level. A plinth with moulded stone capping and a wooden eaves cornice are present, along with three dormers featuring segmental heads. There are also three chimney stacks and a gabled wing on the east side, with some casements that have leaded lights on the north side.
