Description

Manor Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century and later, is constructed of red brick and features steeply-pitched pantile roofs. The building has a T-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with attics. It includes sash and casement windows with glazing bars, as well as some leaded lights. The west side has a crow-stepped gable, while the north side features a shaped gable with an internal chimney stack. The south gable has a parapet and a large chimney stack with three octagonal chimney shafts that have moulded caps and bases. Notable diaper brickwork is present on the south gable. The east facade has seven bays, an eaves cornice, and brick pilasters with moulded caps. There are two flat-roofed dormers and an off-centre entrance that is sheltered by a wooden portico supported by fluted columns. An off-centre chimney stack has twin shafts. Additionally, there is a castellated garden wall and a lean-to at the north-east corner.
