Description
The Gatehouse, Farm House is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick and covered with pantiles. It has an 'L'-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The west facade features three windows and a central door that is glazed and has six panels. This door is framed by a moulded doorcase with patera stops and a projecting cornice. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with segmental brick arches. On the south elevation, there are four windows that are 19th-century casement windows, also with segmental brick arches. The roof is hipped to the southwest, with a gable on the north side and an end stack. There is also an axial stack located in the east range.
