Description

This is an early 19th century building on Millgate in Aylsham, which has undergone significant alterations. The building is constructed of brick, with some sections having been part-colourewashed, and has a pantile roof. It is two storeys high. Modern doors and windows have been installed. Architectural details include plain brick pilasters, a dentil eaves course, and parapetted gables. Chimney stacks are positioned off-centre and at the north gable. Evidence of former, blocked, and altered openings exists. The building is included on the heritage register primarily for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area.
