Description
The Old Hall is a house dating to the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas rendered and colourwashed. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in pantiles. The house is two storeys high, with attics. It features sash windows with glazing bars, along with 20th-century casements and large semi-circular headed windows with glazing bars. 20th-century dormers and rooflights have been added. Lean-to extensions are present on the north and south sides. The house has large brick chimneystacks, partly rendered, which incorporate five moulded and linked lozenge-shaped shafts. Internally, there are stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, as well as brick fireplaces with timber bressummers.
