Description
Rosemary Cottage is a house from the 18th century, constructed of colourwashed brick, red brick, and pantiles. It stands two storeys tall, with a later two-storey extension on the left and a single-storey outshut at the rear. There is a 20th-century porch and a lean-to greenhouse. The cottage features three windows, with an additional window extension to the left. The ground floor windows are three-light with transoms and wrought iron casements. The central first-floor window has two lights, wrought iron casements, leaded lights, and some 18th-century glass. The flanking windows are three-light casements. The building has a brick parapet and end stacks. The left extension includes a two-light window with a wrought iron casement. The eaves are brick corbelled, and there is a parapet gable. Inside, there are open brick fireplaces with timber bressumers and an opposed butt purlin roof.
