Description
Woodrow Garage, formerly known as Woodrow Inn, dates from the 18th century and later. It is constructed of colourwashed red brick and features a pantiled roof. The building has a two-storey, 'L'-shaped plan. The south elevation of the 18th-century wing has three windows with doors positioned between each window. The first-floor west window is a sash window with glazing bars, while the other windows at ground floor level are 19th-century three-light casements with segmental brick arches. The building has brick dentil eaves, parapet gables with brick tumbling in, and end stacks, along with an off-centre axial stack. The 19th-century north wing includes a single-storey extension to the east, which has a hipped bay window and a 'cat slide' roof. The remainder of the north wing features two windows with 19th-century casements, brick dentil eaves, and a chimney stack on the north gable.
