Description
This building is a former farmhouse located 100 metres south-south-west of the Cock Inn, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of pebble dashed brick and features a pantiled roof. The house is designed in a lobby entrance style and has two storeys with attics. The main facade faces east and includes three windows. There is an off-centre entrance doorway with a 20th-century door, situated opposite a stack. Above the entrance, there is a two-light mullion window. At the first floor on the north end, there is a 17th-century five-light moulded timber mullion window that has a central wrought iron light and glazing bars. On the south end, there are 18th-century mullion windows with segmental brick arches at ground floor level. A 20th-century casement window is located at the ground floor north end, and there is also a casement window in the south gable. The building features a gabled dormer with a two-light casement window facing east. It has a plinth and parapet gables with kneelers, and an off-centre axial stack. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear that is not of special interest.
