Description

This is a small barn dating from the 17th century, located approximately 10 metres north of Old Hall Farmhouse in South Burlingham. The barn is constructed of red brick and features a steeply-pitched roof that is thatched with reeds. Each gable has two vertical bands of dark headers, and the gable parapets show continuous tumbling-in. There are door openings in the south wall, along with two upper openings in the east gable that have segmental heads. Additionally, there is a one-storey range of sheds with a pantiled roof running to the north. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
