Description
The Manor House is a country house from the 18th century, built of red brick with a glazed pantile roof. It stands two storeys high with attics and features a symmetrical facade of five bays, with the central bay being advanced and topped with a pediment. The house has sash windows with glazing bars and flat rubbed arches, while the first-floor sash in the centre bay has a segmental head. A circular window with glazing bars is located in the pediment. The entrance consists of a central flush panelled door set within a segmental-headed wooden door surround that includes a key block and panelled reveals. Below the windows, there are blind arched recesses in the plinth. The building is accented by rusticated brick quoins and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The gables are parapeted and feature external stacks. To the left, there is a 1½ storey wing with a smut and red pantile roof, casement windows, and a gable stack. The rear of the house has pantiled catslide extensions.
