Description
Norfolk House, located at 13 Hungate Street in Aylsham, is an 18th-century building that features brick construction, which is plastered and colourwashed. The roof is pantiled, with both gabled and hipped sections, and has a projecting eaves cornice with sprocketted detailing. The house stands two storeys tall and has sash windows that include glazing bars. A notable feature is the projecting flat-roofed porch supported by freestanding Doric columns and pilasters, along with a moulded door surround. The property includes a forecourt that is enclosed by a brick front boundary wall, complemented by wrought iron railings and double gates.
