Description
Kings Head House is a public house that dates from the 18th century and later. It is constructed of red brick that has been colourwashed, with a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and features a range of five windows that are irregularly spaced. On the ground floor, there are four segmental-headed sash windows without glazing bars, and on the first floor, there are five two-light casement windows. There are two entrance doors, one of which has double doors and a doorcase with an entablature supported by console brackets. A large off-centre axial chimney stack is present, along with parapeted gables that have brick tumbling. An internal stack is located on the south gable, and the eaves are finished with a saw-tooth brick design. There are later extensions at the rear of the building. This property is included for its group value.
