Description
Nos 1 to 3 on Kilverston Road are houses from the 1870s, part of the Shadwell estate. They are built of brick and feature a tiled gable roof, standing two storeys tall. The design includes a pair of adjoining gables on the left that are of equal height, while a larger gable on the right forms the front of a cross wing. Each gable has two casement windows beneath pointed segmental gauged heads, with spandrels decorated by glazed tiles in a diaper pattern. The centre of the facade features a one-storey section below a swept roof, with 20th-century doors flanking the casements. Above, there is a gabled dormer, and three chimneys with two or three shafts are positioned asymmetrically.
