Description

Baileys Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century and later. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring wattle and daub infill, and has a west front made of brick and flint. The roof is gabled and covered with pantiles. The cottage has two storeys, and the east side displays studding that indicates the remains of mullioned windows. There is a 19th-century ridge stack and a 20th-century extension on the east side. The west side, which is early 19th century, is made of flint with brick dressings. The ground floor has four window openings that now contain late 20th-century casements, while the first floor features 19th-century casements.
