Description

The Red Lion Public House is a late 18th-century building located on Crown Street in Banham. It is constructed of rendered brick and clay lump, topped with a pantiled roof. The building features a symmetrical facade with a central door that is sheltered by a flat hood. On either side of the door, there are two casement windows, each set under segmental arches. The first floor has five similar windows. The structure is adorned with a modillion eaves cornice and has a bell-based hipped roof, with a central ridge stack. At the rear, there is a range that includes three gables and similar windows positioned above a brick string course.
