Description

This mid-19th century dovecote is located 30 meters east of Attleborough Lodge. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof, with an elongated hexagonal shape. The south side has a door that is topped by a louvred timber tympanum and a semi-circular brick arch. The corners of the dovecote are accentuated by flat brick buttresses that rise to a dentilled eaves cornice. Casement windows are present on alternating sides, and the roof is hipped. Inside, the dovecote retains its original dove nest boxes made of brick and a swinging ladder.
