Description

Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and 19th century. It is constructed from timber framing, rendered clay lump, and brick, topped with a pantiled roof. The building is designed in an L shape and has two storeys. The facade features a central door flanked by two windows on each storey, and the roof is gabled. The rear of the front range has a full-length outshut. The cross wing is timber framed and includes a drip shelf in the north gable, along with a 20th-century outshut on the ground floor. Both ranges have central ridge stacks, and the ceiling beams in the parlour are adorned with triple diamond stops.
