Description
The water tower at Kilverstone Hall was built around 1905 by Boardman. It is constructed of flint with decorative brickwork, featuring a timber tank storey and a copper broach spire. The tower has an octagonal plan and round-headed windows on the first floor, which have gauged brick surrounds that enclose recessed timber casements. The body of the tower displays squared brick diaper work and has small pedimented windows on alternate facets. A timber bartizan extends through and below the tank storey, and braced canted balconies appear on alternate facets beneath the projecting broach of the roof.
