Description

Old Farm Barn is an 18th-century barn constructed from clay lump with brick gable walls and a thatched roof. It features a hipped wagon entrance and a double door on the left side. The west gable wall is made of brick and has a parapet, while the east gable wall is weatherboarded above the eaves line. There are two full-height double doors at the rear of the barn. Inside, the space is divided by a brick partition, with tie beams supported by arched braces and wall posts. The structure includes struts to the principals, collars, and two tiers of staggered butt purlins, although most of the timbers have been renewed.
