Description
White House East and West are two cottages dating from the mid-17th century. They are partly timber framed with clay lump infill and feature a brick gable on the west side. The cottages have a pantiled roof and rise to two storeys, with four casement windows on each floor, which were replaced in 1983. The roof is gabled with a central ridge stack, while the west gable is made of English bond brickwork and has an internal stack. An outshut abuts this wall, and there is a stepped external stack on the east gable.
