Description
Green Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of brick with a pantiled roof. It features a lobby entrance plan and stands two storeys high with seven bays. The building has a brick plinth and a doorway that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. To the right of the centre, there are 19th-century casement windows in their original openings, which are set under gauged skewback arches on the ground floor. A flat brick string course runs along the building. The first floor has similar windows, although some alternate openings are blocked. The gabled roof has low parapets and a central ridge stack. The south gable displays tumbling and a string course along the eaves line, with one blocked window on the first floor. The farmhouse has tie plates dated 1776 and features outshuts at the rear, with tumbling on the north side, including the outshut.
