Description

Leggates Farmhouse is a mid-18th century brick farmhouse with a pantiled roof. It is set on a brick plinth and has two storeys. The main entrance doors are located to the right and left of the centre of the front elevation. One original window with glazing bars remains. More recent 20th-century windows have been inserted into the original openings, each set beneath gauged skewback arches. A flat brick string course runs along the building. The roof is gabled and features three chimney stacks. The south front has burnt brick headers arranged in a chequerwork pattern. The east gable includes a pantiled outshut with tumbling.
