Description
The Railway Tavern Public House is a public house built around 1850. It is constructed from flint with gault brick dressings and features a slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and is arranged in three bays, with gables on the outer two bays. The facade includes a central door located under a gabled porch, flanked by single-storey bay windows on both sides. The casements are 20th-century replacements. Above, there are three 2-light casements, all also 20th-century. The outer two casements are set within wide gables that have wavy bargeboards. The gabled roofs are topped with triple-flued diamond ridge stacks that are positioned transversely. The interior has a 20th-century layout.
