THETFORD STATION ROAD (North East side) The Railway Tavern Public House

Public house. c1850. Flint with gault brick dressings. Slate roof. 2 storeys in 3 bays, the outer 2 bays with gables. Facade composed of a central door under a gabled porch and flanked by a single-storey bay window right and left. Casements are C20 replacements. Three 2-light casements above, all C20. The outer 2 casements are within wide gables with wavy bargeboards. Gabled roofs with triple-flued diamond ridge stacks set transversely. INTERIOR: ground floor of C20 disposition.
