Description

The Church of All Saints is a parish church primarily built in 1905 and 1906, incorporating a medieval north aisle, north arcade, and south porch. It is constructed of flint and ashlar with plain tiled roofs. The church features an aisled nave with five bays and a chancel that has a vestry to the north. There are seven three-light traceried windows in the Perpendicular style, reusing some original tracery on the south side, while the north side has original yet restored windows.

The south door, dating from the 14th century, has a pair of colonnettes with bell capitals. The fine 15th-century ashlar porch has diagonal buttresses and a moulded archway with spandrels featuring blind tracery, flanked by niches with nodding ogee heads. The porch also has a plinth with a blind arcade, though the parapet and pinnacles are modern.

The north arcade, from the 14th or 15th century, consists of two orders of plain chamfered arches on octagonal piers with moulded capitals, with the easternmost respond being semicircular. The original chancel arch is in a similar style. The south arcade, built in 1905 and 1906, is in the Decorated style. There are remains of blocked north clearstorey openings. Inside, there is a screen that incorporates eight original painted dado panels, and a restored Jacobean pulpit featuring an arcade and carved lunettes.
