Description

The outbuildings in the yard of The Red House are a service block originally for a public house, dating from the mid-18th century. Constructed of brick with a pantiled roof, the building is a single storey with five bays and features segmental arches over its openings. The east gable wall includes a flat brick string course and a shallow parapet that ends in kneelers and brick tumbling. An internal gable stack is likely slightly later than the main structure. Inside, there is a fireplace and remnants of ovens. These outbuildings are included for their group value.
