Description

Bridgham War Memorial is a First World War memorial, built around 1920, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary in Bridgham, Norfolk. It is prominently positioned by the churchyard path, next to the porch. The memorial features a polished grey granite Latin cross set on a three-tiered plinth with a simple square base.

The plinth has inscriptions in leaded lettering that commemorate the First World War, reading: "IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1918" followed by names. Another side of the plinth includes the inscription "PALESTINE 1947" along with a name.
