Description
This is an early 18th-century cottage, with later alterations. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. Originally, it had a three-room plan, featuring a central stack and fireplace. The front facade faces the street and includes a modern doorway offset to the right, and three small windows to the left. An attic dormer has a double-casement window set beneath the thatched roof. The eaves strongly project outwards. The rear of the cottage has a scattered arrangement of 20th-century windows set in the original openings, and a 20th-century doorway is located to the west. The cottage has been extensively altered in the 20th century.
