Description
The Kingdom Hall is a building that was originally a house and has been converted for use as a meeting house in the 1980s. It dates from the early 18th century, with a facade of early 19th century gault brick, while the rest of the structure is made of red brick. The building has a pantiled roof, which is black-glazed at the front, and it stands two storeys high with two bays.
On the ground floor, there is a late 20th century six-panelled door to the right and a late 20th century 6/6 sash window to the left, where a shop display window has been bricked in. The first floor features two 19th century sash windows with 6/6 glazing bars, set beneath gauged skewback arches. The roof is gabled and hipped at the facade, with a minstergate front that includes a platband at the first floor and two 6/6 sash windows in exposed boxes. The interior has not been inspected.
