Description

Nos 4-5 on The Street are two cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They are partly timber framed with rendered clay lump infill and have a roof covered in concrete tiles. The cottages are one storey high with a dormer attic and are arranged in a cross wing plan. There are three doors that are placed irregularly; the central door is from the 20th century, while the others are from the 18th century. To the right, there is one 18th-century casement window, with the remaining windows being from the 20th century. The cottages feature gabled roofs with two 20th-century gabled dormers on the right side and a 20th-century attic casement in the cross wing. The ridge stack has been rebuilt.
