Description
Brook House is an early 18th-century house located on Diss Road in South Lopham. It features a timber frame with rendered clay lump and wattle and daub infill. The roof is covered with corrugated tiles at the front and pantiles at the rear. The house has a lobby entrance plan and stands two storeys tall, with a single bay, two-storey extension on the right that also has a pantiled roof. A 20th-century gabled porch has been added. Each storey has three casement windows, with all but the lower left window dating from the late 18th century. The house has a bell-based gabled roof with a ridge stack positioned to the right of the centre. Inside, the framework is of good scantling, and the bridging beams are chamfered with tongue stops.
