Description
The churchyard walls and gate located east of White Lodge in Swaffham date from the 18th and 19th centuries. The walls are constructed of red brick and end at the east with a combination of brick, flint, and some stone. The gate, dating from around 1840 to 1850, is made of cast iron and features two semicircular screens with gates that hinge to a central stile made of two square-section verticals. To the left of the gate, there is an additional gate beneath a low overthrow designed for a dog-cart. The walls were listed on January 17, 1973, and the gates were listed on October 19, 1995.
