Description
The gates to the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul date from around 1840 to 1850. They are made of cast and wrought iron and feature four open trellis piers with square-section verticals that rise to open volute finials, which include fittings for gas lamps. Between the outer pairs of piers are wrought-iron gates that have square-section verticals, a top rail, and a bottom rail. The top rail is adorned with a scrolled frieze, while the bottom rail has a diamond-pattern dado. A similar screen is located to the south.
