Description

The White House is a building dating from the early 18th century, currently serving as offices and surgeries for four doctors. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys plus an attic and is arranged in five bays, each with 2-light mullion and transom windows, some of which retain their original metal casements and wrought iron pulls. The ground floor windows are adorned with skewback arches. There are gable-end stacks and tumbling-in, along with small casement windows in the gables that have cast iron glazing bars. At the rear, there are later lean-tos added.
