Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the early 18th century and has been significantly modernised since then. It is constructed of red brick and features both plain tiled and pantiled roofs. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with a T-shaped layout.
The main facade, facing west, has irregular window arrangements with renewed casements that include 2, 3, 4, and 5 lights, all with transoms. The openings have segmental heads. There is an off-centre entrance porch located opposite the chimney stack, which has a crow-stepped gable supported by moulded stone kneelers, and an elliptical arch above the doorway.
To the south, there is a stepped gable with an internal stack. The roof is hipped at the north end, while the east gable features a crow-stepped design with a square bay window consisting of five lights and a 3-light casement above, both adorned with ovolo moulded mullions and transoms. The entrance porch is colourwashed brick and is positioned at an angle with a lean-to roof. Additionally, there is a square-sided 5-light bay window with a hipped roof on the south wall. A 19th-century service range with a hipped pantile roof is located to the north of the main building.
