Description
The White Horse Public House is a 17th century timber-framed inn located on Welwyn Mill Lane. It features a roughcast front with early 19th century details and has a low-pitched slate roof, along with an old-tile roof cross wing on the rear south side. The building includes four first-floor flush sash windows with architrave frames, as well as one 12-light fixed window. On the ground floor, there is one triple-hung sash window, two single sashes, and a modern canted door porch. A tall 17th century chimney stack is positioned towards the left, featuring square conjoined shafts. The north gable end is constructed of brick and half timber.
