Description

Digswell Place is an early 19th-century house, originally the vicarage, with later 19th and early 20th-century additions. The main block is built of pink brick with a slate roof that overhangs at the eaves. The front facade features a brick end pilaster on the right, and three windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars and blind cases. Below these are three French windows, also hung sashes with glazing bars and blind cases. A section to the right is slightly set back and has one window above a double French window contained within a segmental-headed reveal. The rear of the main block has three-light hung sash windows with glazing bars. The later 19th and early 20th-century additions to the house are not considered to be of particular architectural interest. The building has group value.
