Description
The Coach and Horses Public House is an early 18th-century building located on the north side of Newgate Street in Hatfield. It features red brick gable ends that are corbelled and coped, with slightly projecting chimney stacks. The roof is plain tile and has a slight mansard shape. The front of the building is made of red brick from the 19th or 20th century. The structure has one storey and attics, with two windows and two gabled dormers that contain two-light casements. To the left, there is a weatherboarded outbuilding from the 18th or 19th century, which has a half hipped roof and one storey with two windows. There is also a small similar addition on the right.
