Description

Nos 166 and 168 on High Street are a pair of mid-18th century houses made of painted brick, although they have been significantly altered. The buildings stand three storeys high and feature a hipped plain tile roof. Each house has a four-window range and a brick dentil cornice. The windows are exposed box sashes, but No 166 has blank panels on its left side. The first-floor window surrounds of No 168 have been changed, and the sashes have been replaced with new ones that include glazing bars. The ground floors of both houses have been modernized.
