Description
No. 160 High Street is a mid-19th century building that was formerly the Three Crowns public house. It is two storeys tall and features a stucco façade. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has end wall stacks. On the first floor, there are two windows with 19th-century sash designs set within architrave surrounds. The ground floor has paired round-arched windows on either side of a round-arched central doorway. The windows are flanked by panelled pilasters and a central column that has a hop and vine capital. The doorway is also framed by panelled pilasters and a moulded arch. Quoin blocks are present only at the angles of the ground floor. This building is listed for its group value with other nearby structures.
