Description

Nos 129 and 131 High Street is a 17th-century timber-framed house that has undergone significant alterations. It stands two stories high with an attic and features a plain tile roof that includes one dormer on the right side. The shop front of 129 completely obscures its elevation, while 131 has a modern ground floor and stuccoed walling above, which includes a sliding sash window. Inside, there is a five-bay layout with angled queen post roof trusses. There is also a wagon way on the left side leading to the rear, where a projecting plastered first floor may have served as a gallery.
