Description
Killingdown Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the early 17th century, with 19th-century alterations and a 20th-century extension. It is probably timber framed, featuring stock brick walls with thin timbering added. The building has a roughcast extension with applied sham timber framing and a tiled roof. It has a three-bay lobby entry and is two storeys high. The central entrance is located in a projecting two-storey gabled porch, which has a lower gabled hood, and the first floor features a three-light casement window. On the left side, there is a three-light casement on the ground floor and a four-light casement on the first floor, all of which have leaded panes. To the right, there is a 20th-century gable at the front with two and four-light casements. The house has a central original large axial stack. There are additions to the rear that are of no special interest. The interior has not been inspected.
