Description

Broadwater Farmhouse is an 18th-century building, said to have been constructed in 1778. It features a red brick exterior and an old tiled roof that is set behind a low parapet and a corbelled cornice. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with two box dormers and seven sash windows that have glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. There are also two full-height shallow canted bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars. This entrance is framed by Doric pilasters, an entablature, and an open pediment.
