Description
The Roebuck Hotel is a building dating from the 15th century, with additions from the 16th or early 17th century, and a large modern L-shaped back wing that is in keeping with the original structure. It features a timber frame that is plastered, with an oversailing first floor on the left side. The hotel has a large red brick chimney breast with offsets and three shafts. The roof is tiled, and the windows are flush casement with glazing bars. Originally a hall, the interior has a first floor that was inserted later and includes curved braces in the frame. There is also a cut bracketed doorhood.
