Description

No. 18 on Lower Dagnall Street is a building dating from the 15th or 16th century. The ground floor is made of whitewashed brick, while the first floor features timber framing and plaster, with the frame exposed and oversailing on timber corbels. The roof is covered with old end machine tiles. The ground floor has a casement window with glazing bars, and there is a modern casement window on the first floor. The back elevation is weatherboarded. Inside, there is a crown post roof. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 4 to 18 (even).
