Description

This is a house, formerly a mill house, dating to 1848, as indicated by a brick date mark. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, featuring parapeted gable ends and moulded corbels. The house is two storeys high and originally had three windows, but a sympathetic single-window left extension was added around 1975. The windows are recessed sash windows, each with a gauged brick lintel. The original front door has one flush panel, two moulded panels, and one glazed panel. It is finished with dentilled brick eaves. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the wider group value of the area.
