Description
7 Sun Street is an early 19th-century building with a plastered facade that has been adapted from an earlier structure, possibly from the 17th century. The only visible trace of this earlier building is the overhanging first floor, which is supported by a pair of canted bay windows. The windows on the upper two storeys feature architraves with narrow pulvinated moulding and small roundels at the corners. The top storey windows are square-headed, while the first floor windows have semi-circular heads and circular glazing bars in the upper sashes. The building has 19th-century eaves beneath a flat slate roof, which is supported by pairs of brackets. Nos 4 to 11 Sun Street form a group with this building.
